There’s a new luxury hotel on the block in Silicon Valley and as reported by the San Francisco Chronicle, The Clement is a self-proclaimed “six-star hotel.” There’s no such official designation, and to quote the San Francisco Chronicle, “over the years only a handful of hotels have advertised themselves as more-than-fivers.”

Situated in downtown Palo Alto, The Clement has 23 suites with personalized concierge service and inclusive of all meals prepared in the Open Kitchen by the chef. Guests are invited to dine in the Dining Room, the Outdoor Dining Terrace, or on the private rooftop pool deck with views over Stanford University’s campus. Here guests can relax in a private cabana or in the whirlpool.

The one-bedroom suites are equipped with Matouk linens, Frette towels, Nespresso Vertuoline coffee machines, and robes by 80 Acre Products. Lined with stone, the bathrooms have separate rainshowers and soaking tubs. This being Silicon Valley, there’s a big focus on technology. Additional amenities include a Private boardroom, a fitness room, and a fully-stocked Guest Pantry available 24/7.
