Cool Croatia- Amanresorts Arrives in Dubrovnik

We’ve been drooling over the new Amanresort in Venice (pictured here), and now we’re thrilled to hear the high-end hotel chain may open a property in nearby Croatia. Indeed Aman junkies will soon be able to get their fix of luxury in every corner of the globe—from China to Brazil—as the company scouts real estate for sexy new properties.

JustDubrovnik.com reports that Amanresorts’ new venture will be in the town of Cavtat, south of Dubrovnik on the Adriatic coast. A press conference announcing the resort’s groundbreaking will take place on June 14 and Croatian Tourism Minister Darko Lorencin will attend. Along with the Amanresort Sveti Stefan in Montenegro and the before-mentioned Venice hideaway, the resort in Croatia will be the third in the region. No word yet on an opening date.
