Country House Hotel Opens in West London

London's hotel scene just keeps exploding. Today, the first guests checked in to the London Syon Park, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel in West London. London Syon Park is set in 200 acres of parkland, formerly owned by the Duchy of Northumberland for the past 400 years, with 137 guest rooms just seven miles from Knightsbridge and Heathrow Terminal 5.

Cool features include the flagship restaurant Capability, a state-of-the-art spa offering non-surgical treatments by renowned cosmetic surgeon Alex Karidis and year-round access to the Syon House gardens for trout fishing, cycling, shooting and other outdoor activities. The hotel even has a purpose-built helipad for those wishing to fly to and from other destinations.
