David Lynch’s Silencio Nightclub Heads to Miami

Silencio nightclub, David Lynch, Paris and MiamiWhen Director David Lynch opened his Silencio nightclub in Paris last year, it quickly stole the show in the second arrondissement. Inspired by the fictional club in Lynch’s cult film, Mulholland Drive, the real-deal Silencio is a private member’s club with fabulous furnishings by the director himself. Now Lynch fans on the other side of the Atlantic will get a chance to check out the legendary club with their own eyes, as Club Silencio will open in Miami for Art Basel.

This pop-up version will be staged in the FDR nightclub in the Delano South Beach, and true to the Paris original, it will host concerts, performances, film screenings, and other arty events. This is not the first time that Silencio has gone pop-up; it’s also appeared at the Cannes Film Festival and the Serpentine Gallery’s annual Future Contemporaries Party.
