Details Emerge on Upcoming Cafe Royal Hotel

London's historic Café Royal will reopen in June as a member of The Set, a new hotel collection established by Alfred and Georgi Akirov, following an extensive renovation that has taken three years, according to SpaOpportunities.com.

Among the new additions to the Regent Street hotel is the Akasha Holistic Wellbeing Centre day spa, which takes up two floors and has its own dedicated entrance from Piccadilly Circus. An indoor swimming pool will be at the middle of the lower floor of the facility, with five treatment rooms also included, three of which will feature whirlpools. The lower floor will have a wet room; private and public hammams; a dry sauna; and a watsu pool. A yoga studio and a gym will be on the upper floor.

Although the Café Royal Hotel will open its doors in June, the Aksaha Holistic Wellbeing Centre is expected to open in September.

Café Royal is one of two inaugural members of The Set, with the Conservatorium Hotel in Amsterdam, Netherlands, being the second. Hotel Lutetia Paris, France will become the third following its own refurbishment.
