As we reported at the end of March, the legendary Didier Le Calvez left his post as President/Managing Director of Le Bristol in Paris. (He had also served as the COO for the Oetker Collection.) Now we have another scoop: Didier Le Calvez has been named CEO of La Réserve Hotels and General Manager of La Réserve Paris, which quickly secured status as a top insider’s address for international jetsetters and chic Parisians when it opened in January 2015. La Réserve is owned by entrepreneur Michel Reybier, whose La Réserve Hospitality Collection comprises prestigious properties in Geneva and the French Riviera. Reybier also owns the Bordeaux wine estate Chateau Cos d’Estournel.) To quote Le Figaro: “By recruiting the former director of the Four Seasons-George V, Le Bristol, and the Oetker Collection, Reybier is confirming his global ambitions.” Didier Le Calvez has more than 40 years of experience in the world of luxury hospitality.
