Sushi fans craving authenticity need look no further than the motherland, Japan. We were excited to hear about Mandarin Oriental, Tokyo's new sushi restaurant that is slated to open this spring.
Located on the 38th floor, this restaurant will have floor-to-ceiling windows to offer views of the soon to be completed Tokyo Sky Tree. How's that for a room with a view?
The restaurant will feature eight seats at a counter made of Japanese cypress, which will act as a stage for the sushi chef. Talk about intimate dining! With 18 years of experience under his belt, Sushi Chef Yuji Imaizumi will use the best products to illustrate his concept of "simple is best."
