Dubai Hotel to Get Parisian Restaurant

The problem: You're craving a Parisian style meal…and you're currently exploring downtown Dubai. The solution: La Serre Bistro & Boulangerie, a Parisian-style boulangerie, café and bistro is scheduled to launch early next month in the Vida Downtown Dubai Hotel, and we think it looks perfect for foodies seeking French fare.

Hotelier Middle East is reporting that the opening team for the venue, which forms part of the first hotel by Emaar Hospitality Group under the Vida Hotels and Resorts brand in Downtown Dubai, includes chef Izu Ani who previously worked at The Square in London, Auberge de L’Ill in France and Dubai’s La Petite Maison.

La Serre will be located at the base of the Vida Downtown Dubai, and will reportedly use "fresh and organic ingredients" from farmers and artisan suppliers throughout Europe and further afield.

The restaurant is encased in a two-story glass façade, and the boulangerie will serve fresh breads, viennoiserie and a light breakfast menu each morning. Upstairs, the bistro will serve a Mediterranean-inspired menu for lunch and dinner, as well as a chef's table.

A conversion of the previous Qamardeen hotel, the Vida Downtown Dubai is the first property under Emaar Hospitality Group's new Vida Hotels and Resorts brand.
