Fashion Buzz: Oscar de la Renta to Open London Store

Heads up, fashionistas! Bloomberg is reporting that Oscar De La Renta, the luxury womenswear chain, will be opening its own storefront in London after years of selling top-tier fashions at department stores like Harrods. We hear the brand is looking to spend close to $800,000 for its first London store.

The New York-based company will reportedly open an outlet at 130 Mount St., adjacent to Lanvin. The luxury store will take over the space from a hair salon that is relocating to Carlos Place.

Mount Street shopping street, owned by the Grosvenor Group Ltd., a property company of the family trust of Britain’s Duke of Westminster, also has the only U.K. stores for Balenciaga and luxury luggage chain Goyard.
