Ferrari Plans a Theme Park and 5-Star Hotel in Spain

Ferrari Land in Spain

Here in Europe, the rumor mill is working overtime after Ferrari’s recent announcement of a new theme park in Spain. (Currently, Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi is the world’s largest indoor theme park, and has the world’s fastest roller coaster.) Will the new park be as successful as the one in the UAE, considering Spain’s economic downturn? Will it truly offer Europe’s fastest and highest vertical accelerator? And will it really have a five-star hotel fashioned in the shape of an F1 front wing?

The Italian sports car manufacturer has set an official opening date of 2016 for the $180 million park; Ferrari Land will be situated at the PortAventure resort near Barcelona. The Ferrari-themed hotel will be of particular interest to Ferrari fans, since it is the first such project for the luxury brand. The five-star hotel will have 250 guest rooms, restaurants, a driving simulator, and a pool. ¡Bienvenido! to the prancing horse!
