Here's a breath of fresh air for the Bahamas: Visitors to the Exuma Cays are invited to preview a brand-new VIP spot, as several villas at EMBRACE Exuma Resort have just opened in advance of the official resort opening in 2014.

Four of the seven villas are now welcoming guests - Mayaguana, Bimini, Andros and Ragged Island. We hear villas range from one to three bedrooms, and each villa has its own distinct personality.

Canoodling lovebirds will feel most at home at Ragged Island, which features a Jacuzzi and a romantic shower for two. Bimini is perfect for those looking to mix business with pleasure. We would recommend Mayaguana for the older generations, as it is outfitted with ramps, grab bars and other handicap accessible modifications. If it's space you are after, book Andros. It has a kitchen and one, two or three bedrooms depending on a guest's need.
