First Look: The Langham, Sydney

Exciting buzz from Sydney, where the former Observatory Hotel has formally become The Langham, Sydney. The opening is expected to be the first step in a city-wide expansion for the brand.

Located near Sydney’s historical Rocks district and the Central Business District, the hotel is also close to the harbor and the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House.

While all of the rooms sound lovely, we're especially intrigued by the Observatory Suite (pictured), which has a hand-carved four-poster bed, a full kitchen (no need to dine out!) and a guest bathroom.

 

Sonia Lefevre, who has worked for 15 years as a sales and marketing specialist for international luxury hotels, will be the general manager of the property. Prior to joining The Langham Sydney, Lefevre was the hotel manager of The Langham, Hong Kong for two years.
