First Look--Lufthansa's New Lounges at Frankfurt Airport

Tomorrow morning, the new A-Plus Concourse at Frankfurt Airport will go into operation, and Lufthansa will open five new lounges in the space. A First Class Lounge, a Senator Lounge and a Business Lounge are located on the EU Departures and Arrivals level. For passengers in the Non-European area (Non-Schengen area) there is a Senator Lounge and a Business Lounge.

With a floor space of almost 23,000 square feet, the Senator Lounge in the Non-Schengen area is Lufthansa’s largest lounge worldwide. In the future, passengers at Frankfurt Airport will have a choice of 13 Lufthansa lounges plus the First Class Terminal with a total floor space of approximately 200,000 square feet in the first half of 2013, Concourse A will also include a refurbished Senator Lounge. The total floor area of Lufthansa’s lounges at Frankfurt will thus be increased by almost 50 percent compared with today.
