Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul Gets New General Manager

The Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at the Bosphorus has announced the decidedly international Leonardo Baiocchi as the new General Manager.

An Italian born in Kenya, Baiocchi started his professional career as a front desk employee at Four Seasons Hotel Milano in 1993 after completing his education in hotel management in Switzerland. Since 1993, he has held various responsibilities on the opening teams of many of the company’s hotels, including the former Regent Chiang Mai (Thailand), Four Seasons Hotel Chicago (USA), Four Seasons Hotel London at Canary Wharf (UK), Four Seasons Resort Sharm El Sheikh (Egypt), Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest (Hungary) and Four Seasons Hotel Firenze (Italy). (See what we mean about him being international?)

Baiocchi undertook different responsibilities during his early career in the front office department and was promoted to Hotel Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest in 2004. Following three years in Hungary he came back to Florence for the opening of brand’s second hotel in Italy. He was the Hotel Manager for the successful opening in 2008, and also had an important role in the opening of Palazzo Tornabuoni Private Club and Residences, a restored 16th century residential dwelling with 38 apartments.
