Four Seasons Maldives Revamps Spa Menu

FourSeasonsMaldives

Loyal fans of Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru will love this little tidbit: Just last month The Spa and Ayurvedic Retreat launched a brand new spa menu.

We hear the new menu draws on the surrounding landscape, including all organic products, and the spirituality of the place.

On the menu: Chakra Blessings is available singly or as a series or five or seven treatments. These treatments cleanse and balance each of the body's seven chakras in turn, enabling physical, mental, emotional and spiritual strength. They range from two hours to two and a half hours.

The four Reconnection Rituals offer each family member the opportunity to put aside external stresses and get in touch with inner bliss. We hear the most recommended is the 150-minute Aailaa Ritual, which is a family-style journey for up to four family members.

The Ayurvedic Remedies and Wellness Rituals are overseen by two Ayurvedic Physicians and are designed to alleviate the pressures of modern life (think stress, diabetes, sciatica, spondylitis, insomnia and hypertension).  Treatments range from individual rituals like Shirodhara and Elakkizhi to individually crafted therapies and consultations. Nice touch: The spa offers all-inclusive seven-, 14- and 21-day Ayurvedic Immersions.

Other spa offerings include yoga classes and tantric rituals for men, women and couples. Massages, facials, wraps and body renewal treatments.
