Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara has cooked up three “Simply Irresistible” dining experiences designed to provide memorable, epicurean adventures for even the most seasoned traveler.

“We wanted to leverage this location and the fresh bounty we have at our fingertips to offer guests a chance to try something truly unique,” says Karen Earp, general manager. “We’ve taken everything that’s wonderful about food, wine and the American Riviera and combined it into three very special experiences.”

Each of these new meals is a recipe for an interactive culinary opportunity – romantic, adventurous or locally grown.

The “Moveable Feast” experience enables resort guests to bring along an elaborate, on-the-go gourmet picnic for an activity-filled day. The customized feast can serve as lunch or dinner, accompanied by a bottle of wine of the guests' preferred varietals and two engraved wine glasses to keep.

“Farmers Market to Fork” is fit for any locavore, led by Executive Chef Alessandro Cartumini as a personal guide. The outing starts with a visit to a local farmers market to meet with local growers and select seasonal ingredients for the day’s menu. Next, participants head to the kitchen where they will learn how to prepare healthy, creative dishes in a private cooking class. The experience ends with a four-course lunch paired with local wines at the resort’s Bella Vista restaurant. Guests may also opt for the cooking class and lunch only, without market tour.

“Romance on the Riviera,” an all-inclusive package for an unforgettable dinner date, involves much staff detail for a perfect evening, from pre-event planning to personal concierge service that night. The couple is greeted at their guest room with champagne before being escorted to the resort’s most exclusive setting. The evening also will feature a meet-and-greet with the resort’s culinary team, followed by a four-course candlelight dinner with fine wine and music tailored to personal tastes. At the evening’s end, these guests will find romantic amenities at their doorstep, along with a keepsake gift.
