The French Laundry Reopens April 7 in Napa

The French Laundry

Last winter Chef Thomas Keller closed The French Laundry, his renowned Napa Valley restaurant, to embark on large-scale renovations. The kitchen was demolished and remodeled from scratch. During the construction, the Michelin three-starred chef was busy hosting a pop-up restaurant called Ad Lib at Napa’s Silverado Resort and Spa.

Now the Internet buzz amongst California foodies is that The French Laundry is back. The reopening is planned for April 7, and if you hurry, you might be able to score that reservation you’ve always dreamed about. Eater SF points out that if you’ve been trying to get a table at the Keller’s popular flagship, now is the time. There are a number of reservations still available on Open Table, which is quite rare for the restaurant.

Located in Yountville, The French Laundry is housed in a rustic stone cottage, originally built in 1900 as a saloon. Tasting menus start at $295 per person.
