To celebrate the sunny days and warm evenings, Galaxy Bar & Restaurant has launched the summer season with the opening of the terrace and the outdoor bar located at the top floor of Hilton Athens to feature amazing views, refreshing cocktails, good music and the exciting flavors of the new executive chef Dimitris Melemenis.
Melemenis enriched the menu with new, original dishes that combine Mediterranean cuisine with international influences. Keen on using traditional, Greek products, he created a selection of dishes featuring Kalathaki cheese of Lemnos in the spinach salad with figs and walnuts, Sfela cheese of Messinia with the grilled chicken breast and Arsenico cheese of Naxos in the wild mushroom risotto. The menu still includes the popular culinary delights cooked on hot lava stones. Guests can choose to BBQ at the table and cook Talagani cheese with vegetables; sea bass with scallops and shrimps; or the Surf n ' Turf, which combines beef fillet and lobster tail marinated in spicy tsimitsouri sauce.
Guest may also enjoy fillets grilled and accompanied by the side dish of their choice. Galaxy Bar & Restaurant's sushi list includes new arrivals, such as the crispy salmon rolls (salmon in crispy crust, mayonnaise and avocado) and the Caesar rolls (homemade Caesar sauce, crab and avocado).
To finish the meal, guests can enjoy dessert from a frozen Mojito cream with mint jelly; amaretto semifreddo with almond crocant; or a raspberry soup with lavender ice cream and meringue.
