Visitors to Paris are enchanted by the Four Seasons George V’s spa-- a calming and elegant space that’s racked up the awards over the years. Treatment rooms are designed to resemble Marie Antoinette’s boudoir, while the pool area is decorated with trompe l’oeil garden murals and gorgeous floral arrangements. The spa’s success can be attributed to Verena Lasvigne-Fox, senior spa director, Europe for Four Seasons, who has spent the past 11 years at the Four Seasons George V.
We’ve just recently learned that the spa guru will be taking a new position at the Four Season Marrakech, Morocco on February 1, 2014. Lasvigne-Fox will continue her regional role directing the brand’s European spas, but she’ll also helm the operations at the Marrakech spa. This is an interesting strategic move, in light of Four Seasons’ rapid expansion in the region-- with a hotel planned for Casablanca and a resort property for Agadir on the Atlantic coast.
