Get an Early Peek at the UK’s New Michelin-Starred Restaurants

Alyn Williams at the Westbury, LondonGastronomes eagerly anticipating the list of 2013 Michelin-starred restaurants will be pleased as punch to learn that the UK’s winners have been leaked online- a week ahead of the official release date. In London, five new restaurants have nabbed one star: Alyn Williams at the Westbury (pictured); Dabbous; Hedone; Medlar; Trishna; St John Soho; Tom Aikens; and Launceston Place.

Additional new one-star restos across the country include Heston Blumenthal's Hinds Head in Bray, Berkshire; Paul Ainsworth at Number Six Restaurant in Padstow, Cornwall; Alimentum in Cambridge; and Thackeray's Restaurant in Kent.

Newly awarded a second star are three restaurants: Simon Rogan's L'Enclume in Cartmel, Cumbria; Michael Wignall at the Latymer at Pennyhill Park in Surrey; and Pierre Gagnaire and Mourad Mazouz's Sketch in London. Bon appétit!
