Fans of GHM will love this: General Hotel Management Ltd. (GHM) is planning to open the Al Bait Sharjah hotel in 2015 in the UAE.
Located in Sharjah, the hotel will sit on 2.5 acres and have 54 rooms across four categories. We hear there will also be a spa and dining facilities that include a traditional Arabic tea and coffee house. We are excited to see the decorative touches (think wall-mounted lanterns, arched porticos, rooftop terraces and more).
Historic touch: Five of the buildings in the hotel are heritage buildings. Many of the rooms at the Al Bait Sharjah will open onto interior courtyards. The Souq Al Arsa, a traditional open-air marketplace, will be a main thoroughfare within the hotel.
GHM is also planning to open The Chedi Khorfakkan in 2015 in Oman.
