Here's a dose of luxury for Taiwan: GHM will launch three luxury hotels in Zhudong.

The Chedi Club, The Chedi and The Serai in Zhudong will be the centerpieces of Eutopia, a mountain getaway development one hour by car from Taipei.

We hear The Chedi Club will have 25 villas spread throughout a maple forest, each with private butler service. The Chedi will have 92 guest rooms and suites with mountai views, restaurants, a spa and an infinity pool. The largest hotel of the bunch, The Serai, will have 200 rooms and will be closest to the Eutopia development. Note: Eutopia will also include a wildlife park, a traditional Taiwanese village with teahouse, winery, art galleries, live theater, specialty restaurants, a spa and shopping mall.
