Hamilton Island's qualia Joins Relais & Châteaux

Great news from Australia's exclusive Hamilton Island, right along the Great Barrier Reef: qualia resort has become a member of Relais & Châteaux. As one of 45 new hotels to be added to the collection, qualia will be in the new Relais & Châteaux guide, which is distributed to 800,000 travelers and restaurant-goers each year.
 
qualia opened in 2007 at the secluded northern tip of Hamilton Island, with 60 one-bedroom pavilions and a Beach house with views of the Coral Sea in the Whitsunday Islands.
 
As part of Relais & Châteaux, qualia joins Jacques Reymond Restaurant in Melbourne, Tower Lodge in New South WalesHunter Valley, Jonah’s at Whale Beach in Sydney and Tetsuya’s Restaurant in Sydney. In New Zealand there are: Kauri Cliffs Lodge on Matauri Bay, Mollie’s Hotel of Auckland, The Farm at Cape Kidnappers, Hawke’s Bay, Otahuna Lodge in Canterbury, Whare Kea Lodge and Chalet on Lake Wanaka, Matakauri Lodge in Queenstown and, in Tahiti, Le Taha’a Island Resort and Spa, and another new member Saffire Freycinet in Tasmania.
