Harrods and Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park Partner for Holidays

London’s Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park is getting festive for the holiday season. They’ve called on their Knightsbridge neighbor, luxury department store Harrods, to doll up the hotel’s public spaces with poinsettias, red berries, and lots of glitzy baubles—all centered around a huge Nordic-inspired Christmas tree.

Downstairs on the lower ground floor next to Bar Boulud, there will be a confectionary Christmas Tree for children. Inspired by the new Toy Kingdon at Harrods, the tree will be decorated with handmade sweets by artisan candy-maker Papabubble. The hotel's Christmas decorations will be unveiled on November 26, 2012.

The hotel is also offering a Harrods Christmas Package which includes accommodations overlooking Hyde Park with breakfast, special gifts courtesy of Harrods and London perfumer, Ormonde Jayne, and a VIP family pass to see Father Christmas at the Harrods Christmas grotto. Available between December 8, 2012 and January 8, 2013. For more information, visit www.mandarinoriental.com/london.
