Traveling to Israel this year? Jerusalem will soon get a new luxury address, when Waldorf Astoria arrives this month, bringing “Park Avenue-style luxury” to the heart of this historic city. Located at the intersection of King David, Agron and Mamila Streets, just a short walk from the Jaffa Gate and the Old City, the Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem occupies an ancient building with an ornately carved façade that’s been extensively renovated.

The hotel will have 223 guest rooms and suites, a chic lobby bar, two separate spas for men and women with swimming pools, a state-of-the-art gym, conference facilities including eight meeting rooms and a Grand Ballroom. The two restaurants will serve Mediterranean cuisine highlighting fine local products (think olive oil from the neighboring olive groves and lemons from the orchards in the Hebron Hills).

There are also 30 private residences located adjacent to the hotel, that get exclusive access to the Waldorf Astoria’s amenities.
