Hogmanay Celebration in Edinburgh at The Balmoral

What could be a better way to ring in the new year than celebrating Hogmanay in Edinburgh? The Scottish New Year’s party is a rip-roaring good time. In fact, Hogmanay isn’t just one party, but multiple days of open-air concerts, firework displays, feasting and drinking, and traditional pagan wild fire festivals.

A landmark hotel in Edinburgh, Rocco Forte’s The Balmoral will be hosting the Hogmanay Gala Ball, a black-tie event that kicks off with the Pipes and Drums of the Royal Burgh of Stirling. Guests will enjoy seasonal cocktails in the Holyrood Suite where 'Le Swing' will perform favorite Rat Pack tunes. Dinner will be served in the Sir Walter Scott Suite; think Champagne and canapés, then a four-course menu accompanied by fine wines and entertainment. Highland Dancers will perform the famous Sword Dance and Highland Fling, followed by dancing into the wee hours.

Priced at £235 per person; £130 per guest aged between 12 and 18. For overnight stays during the Hogmanay celebrations (including attendance of the Gala Ball), accommodation packages start from £605 per person based on a two-night stay in a Classic Room including breakfast, with two people sharing.
