Long a favorite vacation spot for East Coasters, The Homestead in Hot Springs, Virginia has repositioned itself in recent years as a popular getaway for East Coast families by introducing new facilities aimed at the younger generations. (Like Allegheny Springs, the two-acre water attraction with a lazy river and water slides galore.)
The latest addition to the storied resort will be the new Canyon Ranch SpaClub- the first outpost for the beloved spa brand in the Mid-Atlantic region. Opening in June, the spa is part of the resort's $25 million renovation project. Notably, this will be the first Canyon Ranch SpaClub with specially tailored treatments for children and teens.
In addition to the signature Canyon Ranch treatments, the spa menu will feature services unique to The Homestead (like the Mineral Springs Mud Wrap, The Homestead Soothing Scrub and the 1766 Mineral Soak), following in the historic tradition of travelers “taking the waters” in the resort’s natural hot springs. Indeed, the new spa will have an adults-only spa garden offering access to the springs and mineral baths. For more information, visit www.thehomestead.com
