Horst Schulze's Solís Brand Enters China

Horst Schulze's Solís Hotels & Resorts brand is making an entrance into the People's Republic of China. Plans have been announced for the 200-room Solís Vanke Center in Shenzhen. We hear the project will be completed in two phases, with the conference center opening end of June 2011, followed by the hotel opening during the second quarter of 2012.

Vanke Center is located in Yantian, a popular seashore resort area, and will connect guests to both mountains and popular Dameisha Beach. It's also close to the Hong Kong borders and Shenzhen International Airport.

Directly connected to the hotel is the 86,000 square foot Conference and Exhibition Center, which offers a 12,000-square-foot Grand Ballroom and an auditorium seating 469.
