Mövenpick has officially made its mark in India with the debut of the Mövenpick Hotel & Spa Bangalore.

The 182-room hotel is 21st-century India at its best (think illuminated glass staircase, Wi-Fi, and flat screen LCD TVs). VIP guests staying in executive club rooms or suites can enjoy a 24-hour rate starting from the moment they arrive.

Dining options include the 24-hour My Place restaurant, the Obsidian bar (decked out in stylish 1920s art deco decor), Mezzaluna for Italian fare, and the soon-to-open Perfect Sky, the hotel's rooftop restaurant and lounge.

Other luxe features include the Sohum Spa, with eight treatment rooms and a menu of therapies taken from Ayurveda techniques; a swimming pool with infinity edge; and a fitness center.
