Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc Celebrates 100 Years

Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc

Did you know that the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc is celebrating 100 years in 2014? A member of the Oetker Collection, the exclusive hotel is a legend on the Côte d'Azur, where lavish parties took place in the Jazz Age, and guests like Ernest Hemingway, Zelda and F. Scott Fitzgerald camped out for weeks. The hotel will be feting the 100th birthday of the Eden-Roc Pavilion with a fun calendar of events this summer.

First opened in 1914 as a tea room, the Eden-Roc Pavilion is famous worldwide for its gorgeous saltwater swimming pool overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. To mark the occasion, the hotel will host an open-air cinema in the park with screenings of black & white period movies, including the Charlie Chaplin collection and the more recent “The Artist” starring Jean Dujardin. Every Thursday evening at 9:30 pm until August 21.
