Hôtel Plaza Athénée in Paris Debuts Royal Suite

The Hôtel Plaza Athénée in Paris has revamped its top digs, recently unveiling the touched-up Royal Suite. Designer Marie-José Pommerau waved her wand over the 18th century décor, adding high-tech amenities including four Panasonic 3D Full HD systems with NeoPDP plasma televisions, two Blu-ray players and 3D Full HD glasses. What this means for guests: not only can you watch all sorts of 3D films and televised programs, you can also display your photos and videos located on your computer on the 3D Full HD television set.

Located on the fifth floor, the suite resembles an opulent Parisian apartment with antiques and designer fabrics in apricot color tones. The Royal Suite is composed of four bedrooms, a reception hall, a living room, a sitting room, a study, marble mosaic bathrooms, and balconies overlooking avenue Montaigne with the Eiffel Tower beyond. Nice touch: The dressing table comes with a mini-bar for cosmetics to keep them perfectly conserved at 57°F. Priced from 20,000 euros per night. For more information, visit www.plaza-athenee-paris.com
