Hotel Arts Barcelona is launching the “Shop With The Chef” culinary workshop, which will be offered twice this year—June 7 and October 4. Led by Hotel Arts' Executive Chef Roberto Holtz the workshop caters to all levels and introduces participants to Catalan cuisine at the Barcelona Sant Josep Market.
Open to a maximum of 10 participants, offered in both Spanish and English, the workshop will begin at 9 a.m. with a tour of Barcelona Sant Josep Market, La Bocqueria. As Holz leads a discussion on the market's history of the market and offers his picks of local suppliers, participants are welcomed to look for ingredients to use in their own creations. Afterward, participants will get a hands-on cooking demonstration and prepare the meal with the support of Holz's team for an informal lunch at Sergi Arola's Arola Restaurant, one of his two Michelin-starred restaurants (alongside Paco Perez's Enoteca Restaurant).
