Hotels in Verbier- Cordée des Alpes Opens Soon

Cordee des Alpes, Verbier, Switzerland

Switzerland’s legendary Verbier ski resort will soon have another luxury option. Just in time for the winter season, Cordée des Alpes will open its doors on December 22, 2012. The hotel itself is small—just 34 rooms housed in the same alpine lodge as 14 Penthouse residences—but the facilities are billed as five-star. There’s a spa with a 14-meter pool, Alpine steam and sauna rooms, and a gym with a dedicated Pilates room. The gastronomic restaurant is complemented by a stylish bar with an open fireplace.

Services run the gamut from the chauffeur-driven car to butler and ski concierges. At your doorstep: Verbier’s 410 kilometers of groomed ski runs and 90 lifts. Designed with locally sourced materials, the hotel has mountaintop views from timber balconies in each of the guest rooms.
