InterContinental Opens New Vietnam Resort

InterContinental Hotels & Resorts has made its debut in Vietnam's Danang. The InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort offers 197 rooms, suites and beachfront villas, all with views of the East Sea and rainforest.

We hear that there are 168 classic and premium rooms, 16 Atrium Suites with large terraces and daybeds, six Villas with private pools and sundecks, four Penthosues with private pools, two Spa Lagoon Retreat Villas and one Royal Residence By The Sea. Cool touch: The Royal Residence comes with a separate dining area, bar and private pool. Perfect for VIPs, we say.

Guests can dine at La Maison 1888, a French restaurant helmed by three-star Michelin chef Michel Roux. Two other restaurants are also available at the hotel

The resort features outdoor pools, a kid's club, meeting space and the Harnn Heritage Spa, which will begin with treatments in October and will fully debut in December.
