Ireland's Dromoland Castle Reopens Fig Tree Restaurant

Heads up, foodies! In Ireland's County Clare, Dromoland Castle has opened its remodeled Fig Tree Restaurant and Bar.

Comprising part of the Dromoland Castle Golf and Country Club, the dining facilities include a restaurant that can cater to up to 50 guests, a bar area that seats up to 65, a library, and a patio for al fresco dining and drinking.

The restaurant has a beamed ceiling and large windows, designed to be bright and sunny in summer and warm in winter. Following through from the bar is a library/sitting room with a working fireplace.

The menus have been redesigned as well: We've heard good things about the warm Inagh goats cheese salad with roast vegetables and walnuts or aged Irish beef steaks with garlic butter, grilled field Mushroom, tomato, salad and fries (creamed pepper sauce on the side).

Dromoland Castle is located at Newmarket-on-Fergus, Co. Clare, Ireland. For more information, visit www.dromoland.ie.
