Heads up, theater and movie fans! Playbill.com and other sources are reporting that Oscar nominee Jake Gyllenhaal will make his American stage debut this summer in the U.S. premiere of Nick Payne's comic drama If There Is I Haven't Found It Yet at Roundabout Theatre Company's Off-Broadway Laura Pels Theatre.
Michael Longhurst will direct an ensemble cast including Gyllenhaal. Three additional actors and the design team will be announced shortly. The play premiered at the Bush Theatre in England in 2009.
Performances begin August 24 prior to an official opening September 20. The show will run through November 25. The Laura Pels Theatre is located at 111 West 46th Street between 6th Avenue and Broadway. Visit www.roundabouttheatre.org for more information and tickets.
