JetSet: Capture the Winter Spirit

Jennifer BehrOur November Jetset inspirations will get you in the winter spirit. It includes what to wear, where to be seen and things that will make you a trendsetter this season.

Sparkle and Snow

We love winter because it is the perfect time to accessorize. And we think every snow bunny needs the perfect hat that makes a statement while sipping hot chocolate. This is where the Serafina Pompom Beanie from Jennifer Behr comes into play (or wear). This hat with a Swarovski crystal embellishment will be the perfect beanie on any mountainside. Trust us, it is worth the $1,375 splurge. Also, since it comes in black and snow options, this hat will match any jacket and mittens.

The Season’s Scarf

EZ Capsule

Ski season is here and that means it’s time to bundle up in scarves. For a stylish option, the Ermenegildo Zegna and Maserati capsule collection includes a silk herringbone scarf embroidered with the Maserati logo. This scarf, which comes in brown, is available in Ermenegildo Zegna global stores. Adding to the cool buzz, Carmelo Anthony wore this piece and other items in the collection.

Cool Cocktails

RemedySkiers and snowboarders will all want to rush off to the mountain earlier to grab a drink at the Four Seasons Resort & Residences Vail. The hotel’s bar The Remedy opened this past summer, but this will be the first winter season snow-lovers will be able to sip cocktails at this new, popular location. As for what to order, we think the Remedy No. 1, made with Rémy Martin VSOP cognac and peach bitters sounds delicious. Another must-have is a drink from the whiskey cart, where the “Doctor of Drinks” creates cocktails in front of the customer, Benihana-style.

Africa-Inspired, Winter-Approved

This sterling silver clasp with a 6.5 carat Ethiopian Opal, designed by Christie Halsted, is the perfect jewelry piece to pair with a winter suit or cocktail dress. Not to mention, this showstopper is part of the bespoke set for The Malcolm Ainscough Collection, which is made up of four South African artists that want to give back to Africa. Fifty percent of the proceeds of this clasp will go to the Jafuta Foundation, which in turn helps Elephants without Borders and other organizations.
