JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa in Palm Desert, California has named new frontman, Ralph Scatena, to take over as general manager.
In his new position, Scatena will be responsible for overseeing the property's strategy, sales and marketing, and day-to-day operations.
He comes to the position with more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Most recently, he was the Regional Vice President of Sales & Marketing on Marriott Hotels and Resorts' Western Regional Team. He has also held positions with JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn Resort & Spa, JW Desert Ridge Resort and Atlanta Marriott Marquis.
