Koh Samui’s InterContinental Resort Debuts Baan Thai Spa

InterContinental Samui, Baan Thai Spa

Just a few days ago, the InterContinental Samui Baan Taling Ngam Resort unveiled its highly-anticipated new spa, perched on a cliff 120 meters above the sea. Needless to say, the Baan Thai Spa has unobstructed views of the sparkling sea. Designed like a traditional Thai home, the spa offers a wide range of therapies—including Thai and Western treatments, plus Ayurvedic medicine—utilizing products sourced from indigenous plants and herbs. Helmed by Spa Manager Khun Apinun, the spa has a Tea Bar, four treatment rooms, one Thai massage room, one opulent couples’s suite, two relaxation balconies, and a salon.

The resort itself—described as “Koh Samui’s first ever luxury resort of grand dame stature”—is a haven of infinity pools abutting the private sand beach, where the InterContinental signature speedboat is anchored offshore, ready to take you on an adventure in the Thai islands of the Gulf of Siam.
