Just in time for Fashion Week, Louis Vuitton has opened a pop-up shop at 22 Avenue Montaigne- prime piece of real estate in Paris’s Golden Triangle. (Fendi used to occupy the space.) L’Aventure is devoted to a capsule collection of travel goods, and so the ambience is distinctly tropical (think palms and ceiling fans).
The French fashion house has a long history of creating fashionable leather goods for international jetsetters, and to showcase the latest travel accessories, they recruited Canadian journalist Tyler Brulé (founder of Wallpaper and Monocle magazines) to help develop the store concept.
Customers can personalize their Louis Vuitton leather goods with monograms, take advantage of the repair service, and even enlist the help of packing experts to glean insights into the art of packing. (Take it from the experts; the brand used to outfit the Empress Eugénie.) L’Aventure will be open Monday- Saturday, 10 am to 7:30 pm, until December 31, 2013.
