As part of the 150th anniversary renovations at The Langham London, the luxury hotel has unveiled the Sterling Suite- a palatial penthouse apartment that’s the biggest in town. Encompassing 4,844 square feet, the Sterling Suite comes with private butler service and up to six bedrooms. Accessed by private lift from Portland Place or via the main building’s second floor, the Sterling Suite was designed by Richmond International with bespoke décor and furniture accented with gold and silver leaf. There are also hand blown Murano light fixtures.
Why the name? The suite is said to be “inspired by the sterling heritage of English pageantry and precious materials.” Luxurious perks include a Home Theatre, a dressing room with hand-painted chinoiserie, spa-like bathrooms with stand-alone tubs, and the Butler’s Pantry kitchen. In the Drawing Room, guests can entertain visitors in front of the fireplace with live piano music and cocktails from the Butler’s bar.
