The Logan Has Opened in Philadelphia, Replacing Four Seasons

The Logan Hotel, Philadelphia

It’s official. The Logan celebrated its grand opening in December, after six months of renovation work to the former Four Seasons Philadelphia, which the Philly Voice called “an institution in the City of Brotherly Love for more than 30 years.” (Four Seasons has plans to open a Philadelphia luxury hotel in 2018 in the new Comcast skyscraper.)

The 391-room Logan is part of Hilton's "Curio Collection”, and a big focus is on its artistic image. The Philly Voice notes that the style is “no doubt inspired by the nearby Philadelphia Museum of Art, [as] the hotel is decked out with local sculptures and paintings.” The official website touts The Logan as a “social magnet, infused with a confident, sophisticated, and artful point of view.”

Facilities include spa, a rooftop lounge, and a garden courtyard that’s equated to “a luxe outdoor living room” for events. Other venue space options include ballrooms and reception rooms. For drinking and dining, there’s The Commons and Library; The Courtyard; and Urban Farmer restaurant, a steakhouse which showcases local ingredients.
