London Hotel Celebrates Olympics

In London's Knightsbridge neighborhood, The Lanesborough is celebrating the Olympics in its Library Bar.

Guest can sip a Gold Medal Martini, exclusively crafted and served throughout the season with a gold leaf rim. For those who prefer a more traditional beverage, the Library Bar also has a good variety of fine cognacs; including the world’s oldest cognac that dates back to 1770. (The Lanesborough’s infamous “Liquid History” collection has an extraordinary assemblage of rare cognacs, Armagnac and whiskies.)

The Lanesborough’s Bar Manager Giuseppe Ruo, will also be on hand to match the finest cognacs with a mix of eclectic cigars, including rare pre-revolution Cuban sticks. (For the record, it is still illegal for Americans to purchase Cuban products.)
