51 Buckingham Gate, a member of Taj Hotels in London's Westminster, has appointed Daniel Crebesse as its new Bars Manager. He is also known in the industry as President of the UK Bartenders Guild (UKBG). He will lead a program which will initially cover The Hamptons bar, the Courtyard garden, and the Library.
Daniel Crebesse has been a member of the UKBG for 18 years, having previously held the roles of vice president and London area chairman. During his career he has worked at Kensington's Milestone hotel (most recently), the InterContinental Hotels Group, Thistle Hotels and the London Sofitel hotel.
In his new role, Crebesse will be responsible for creating new bar concepts and undertake significant staff training and recruitment. This will include a new annual bartender apprenticeship scheme. Crebesse will work with Simon Drake, who heads up our Food & Beverage operations.
