Luxe Lift: Oyster Bay Beach Resort Shows Off New Look

Oyster Bay Beach Resort is a classic tale of luxury resort turned community. We hear after an investment of a cool $19 million, the St. Maarten property has taken the last three years to transform into a luxury resort community that attracts both owners and vacationers.

The funds have been used to renovate much of the resort's original space and to construct new facilities (think a four-story, 40-unit ocean front timeshare pavilion and iconic Lighthouse, an eight-story, 18-unit, whole ownership condominium with a roof top infinity pool and exercise facility).

The resort reopened 54 luxury timeshare units on September 10, which had been closed for renovation and refurbishment.

The next phase of the renovations will begin in the spring of 2012 and will include renovating and refurbishing the ocean front units on the resort's south side.
