Ritz-Carlton ArubaLabor Day is just around the corner, which marks the end of summer in our calendars. Instead of mourning the onset of chillier temps and earlier sunsets, we’re setting our sights on the winter holiday. Caribbean, anyone? Here’s a luxurious new hotel we’ve been keeping an eye on: The Ritz-Carlton Aruba, long under construction, is slated to open at the end of 2013, just in time for your winter vacay.

Promising “sweeping views of the Caribbean Sea,” the official website cites December as the official opening date. Reservations can be made starting in early October. The 320 guest rooms will come with private balconies, Ritz-Carlton signature featherbeds, and Asprey bathroom amenities. The exclusive Club Level Lounge will be perched on the top floor.

Situated on Palm Beach, the beach resort will have four restaurants, an enormous spa with 15 treatment rooms, a fitness center, and two pools. Gamblers will be able to get their game on at the 24-hour casino. For more information, visit www.ritzcarlton.com/en/Properties/Aruba/Default.htm.
