Mark your calendars. After much anticipation, Cheval Blanc Randheli will begin welcoming guests to the Noonu Atoll (Maldives) this month. As the LVMH Group’s hospitality brand, Cheval Blanc has made a name for itself with its swanky Courchevel property in the French Alps. (The recent acquisition of Hotel Saint-Barth Isle de France in the Caribbean brings the total count to three ultra-luxury hotels in the portfolio, with an eye on Paris when La Samaritaine, the famous department store on the Seine, will reveal its metamorphosis.)

The Cheval Blanc Randheli is expected to bring new meaning to the word “luxury” on the island atoll beloved by celebrity honeymooners.

Private seaplanes from Malé will transport passengers in 40 minutes to the island resort, where dedicated ambassadors will be at the ready to customize guest experiences with dinner cruises, yoga sessions on the beach, and private scuba diving excursions.

Architect Jean-Michel Gathy has fashioned the 45 villas in a contemporary style reflecting the traditional palm cabanas of the islands. Set in lush gardens, the villas have private pools.

At press time, no director of sales had been named. Luxury travel advisors can contact the hotel at [email protected] or 011-960-301-6000.At Cheval Blanc Randheli, guests will arrive via private seaplanes from Malé.
