Mallorca's La Residencia to Introduce Vespa Rentals This Summer

La ResidenciaLa Residencia, on the Deian mountainside of Mallorca, has announced that this summer it will introduce a pair of Vespas for guests to rent out to explore the island. Painted by the hotel's resident artist, Alan Hide, the Vespas will be come equipped with picnic baskets as well as helmets away from the rustic manor house, available for $80 for a full day and $63 for a half day.

Using maps provided by the hotel's concierge, guests will be able to take itineraries down to the beach or through the hillsides' olive and citrus groves. We hear Banyalbufar is prime for couples, a small town on the edge of the island, though we'd be amiss if we didn't also mention the town of Soller and the village orange and lemons groves of Fornalutx, also in range.
