This spring, Mandarin Oriental, Miami will launch a weekly Sunday beach and pool party, Sizzlin' SunDaze, starting April 3, from 12 to 6 p.m., at Oasis Beach Club. On Biscayne Bay, at no cover charge, beach games, music and spa "taster" treatments will complement the Oasis Beach Club menu, a beach cocktail menu, and access to the hotel's pools and outdoor beach, with 20 percent of all proceeds from the April 3 date going to the disaster relief fund of the Japanese Red Cross.
On the water's edge on the Florida coast, beach games will include badminton and paddleball, and a cabana for mini spa services, manicures and pedicures. To the tune of lounge music with occasional DJ appearances, luxury beach cabanas will be available to rent with full bottle service or pre-set cabana packages, and guests will be able to select from cocktail menu, including a specialty cocktail to be highlighted each week. Hosted by Emcee Andres Friguls, the event will also have the Oasis Beach Club menu on hand, featuring hamburgers, hot dogs, sushi and salad, and guests will be able to enjoy the property's infinity-edge pool and pool deck, beach hammocks slung between palm trees, daybeds and outdoor beach and pool showers.
