Mandarin Oriental San Francisco Appoints Donald Bowman as GM

Mandarin Oriental San Francisco

There are a lot of changes going on at the Mandarin Oriental San Francisco. To cap its large-scale renovation project, the Mandarin Oriental San Francisco recently unveiled a beautiful new spa. And as of November 1, 2012, the luxury hotel at 222 Sansome Street welcomed a new General Manager.

Donald Bowman is a familiar name in the hospitality industry; he launched the Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas (serving as Hotel Manager from 2008 to 2011), then went on to open Ian Schrager’s new hotel, PUBLIC Chicago, and most recently worked as General Manager of Carmel Valley Ranch in Carmel, California. Bowman first joined Mandarin Oriental in 1997, and the Group is pleased to have him back. For more information, visit
